Hi I’m Sean, I’m a Dad, Husband, Dietitian and Personal Trainer.

I’m the eldest of three and deeply ingrained in my thinking is the role of setting an example like a big brother, so you’re not talking to someone who doesn’t practice what they preach.

My life goals are to be a good father and husband, something I’m continually striving to achieve, recognising that is more of a process than a destination, much like my clients health. I really pride myself on walking alongside the people I work with, breaking that mountain down into the session by session plan.

I’m fortunate enough to work alongside my wife and we just love what we do! My love of fitness and nutrition comes from my early teens when I struggled with my own weight issues and my relationship with food and body image wasn’t in a very good place. It was the process of improving and working on that relationship that provided insight into my desired career path.

It’s been a long road of learning, nearly a decade in the fitness industry and 5 years of nutrition studies but I have made a commitment to a life of learning and assisting people with the most up to date researched guidance. I have had many experiences at a professional level but it was the learning at the Super Rugby level as a Strength and Conditioning Intern that made me realise my real passion doesn’t lie in professional level sport.

My real passion is inspiring and helping everyday people achieve beyond what they see possible. I make sure I’m there every step of the way, not pushing or pulling people along but encouraging you to walk your road. I want you to leave our space after each session feeling better about yourself and closer to your goal(s) than when you arrived.

I’m not interested in being the next fad because it sounds great, I want to provide real advice and guidance for real people to achieve their best, oh and I make sure you have a lot of FUN while we do!

Favourite Food: Yoghurt – don’t care what flavour, I will eat it

Just over three years ago my life changed, I started training with Sean! I was unfit, weighed over 100 kilos and hadn't exercised in years. Initially I had three goals I wanted to achieve - I wanted to lose 14 kilos, to be fit at 40 (I’d just turned 39) and I wanted the "bicep vein". I honestly thought 14 kilos was never going to happen, too hard, but with an ever-changing exercise routine (you definitely don't get bored) and some positive changes to my diet I achieved it in only four months and just in time for Christmas! Fast forward another couple of years and I’ve now lost a total of 26 kilos, am fitter than I have been since my early 20’s and I can see the bicep vein! More importantly Sean and Amy have helped me make positive lifestyle changes that will stay with me for life. I never thought I would like exercising, never thought I would be under 100 kilos let alone 77, and never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would love boxing! Sean is an awesome trainer, a top bloke and I wouldn’t be this fit in my 40's without his amazing support.
